As a children’s book author, my goal is that we are “raising readers, one book at a time.” We build memories with our children by reading with them and getting them in the kitchen with us.
Raising Readers
Silly Yaya’s books tell stories about families, fun and traditions. Early chapter books encourage kids to become independent readers with hilarious adventures of Silly Yaya and her dog Gracie.
School Visits & Readings
When children meet authors during school visits, they feel a connection to the book the author reads, and that connection helps foster a love of reading. When children see that adults love books, they want to too. I’ve read to 1000’s of kids across the country to instill the love of reading.
Kids Korner
A great way to keep kids interested in the books they read is giving them activity pages to have fun with. Silly Yaya coloring pages, word search puzzles and much more do just that.
